Pantocid L Capsule 10

Pantocid L Capsule is used to manage conditions caused by excess stomach acid, including heartburn, acid reflux, and gastroesophageal reflux disease. It reduces acid production and improves stomach motility, helping relieve burning sensations in the chest and throat. The capsule also supports healing of peptic ulcers and reduces irritation of the digestive lining, providing sustained relief from acid-related discomfort.

• Take one Pantocid L Capsule 15 to 30 minutes before meals or as your doctor directs. 
• Take the medication with a full glass of water. Do not chew or crush or break the medication.
• Your doctor will determine the dosage and duration of your treatment based on your age, weight, and disease condition. 
• Only discontinue taking Pantocid L Capsule with your doctor's approval.

• The route of administration of Pantocid I is oral.

• Pantocid L Capsule 10's belongs to a group of medicines called gastrointestinal agents used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, acidity, indigestion heartburn, and peptic ulcers. 
• The capsule is a combination of two drugs, namely: Pantoprazole (proton pump inhibitor) and Levosulpiride (prokinetic agent). 
• Pantoprazole functions by inhibiting the gastric proton pump enzyme, which is responsible for the production of acid. 
• Levosulpiride prevents the reflux of food and acid into the mouth by increasing the amount of pressure of the lower esophageal (food pipe) sphincter.

• Store this medicine at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Pantocid L Capsule away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Avoid acidic or heartburn-inducing foods and beverages, such as scallions, peppermint, chocolate, caffeinated beverages, citrus fruits or juices, tomatoes, high-fat and spicy foods, and caffeinated beverages.
• Before sleeping, attempt to raise the bedhead so that your head and chest are higher than your feet. Do not stack pillows; a single raised block is sufficient. 
• Avoid consuming alcohol and cigarettes. Alcohol can increase stomach acid secretion, leading to heartburn and acid reflux. 
• Sitting for extended periods can increase gastric acid production. Take a 5-minute break every hour by strolling briskly or stretching.

• Take one capsule of Pantocid L Capsule one hour before each meal, preferably in the morning.
• Inform your doctor if you experience persistent diarrhoea, fever, or abdominal pain.
• Extended consumption of Pantocid L Capsule may result in brittle bones and mineral deficiencies, such as magnesium deficiency. Consume adequate amounts of calcium and magnesium through your diet or as your doctor prescribes.
