OLMO M TABLET 10 is used to control high blood pressure in adults, especially when a single medicine is not enough, helping to keep blood pressure steady and protect the heart, brain and kidneys from the long-term effects of uncontrolled high blood pressure.

Uses of Olmo M Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Combines two medicines for better blood pressure control.
• Combination Therapy: Used when a single medicine does not control blood pressure.
• Organ Protection: Helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney problems.

Follow these instructions while taking OLMO M TABLET 10:

• Take the tablet with a full glass of water.

• Swallow the tablet whole without crushing or chewing it.

• You may take it with or without food.

• Try to take your medicine at the same time each day.

OLMO M TABLET 10 is taken orally.

OLMO M TABLET 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Olmesartan Medoxomil (20 mg): This is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It blocks the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which normally causes blood vessels to narrow. By preventing this narrowing, olmesartan helps relax and widen your blood vessels, which further contributes to lowering blood pressure.

• Metoprolol Succinate (25 mg): This component belongs to a group called beta-blockers. It works by blocking beta-1 receptors in the heart, which reduces heart rate and decreases the workload on your heart. This action helps lower your blood pressure.

• Store in a tightly closed container at room temperature.

• Keep away from direct light, heat, and moisture.

• Do not store in the bathroom.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Check the expiry date and do not use the medicine after this date.

• Reduce your salt intake as high sodium levels can worsen high blood pressure (hypertension), which may affect how well OLMO M TABLET 10 works in your body.

• Engage in regular, moderate exercise like brisk walking for 30 minutes daily to help manage your blood pressure naturally alongside your medicine.
