CompositionOlmezest Beta 25 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure in adults when a single medicine is not enough, lowering the long-term risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney damage.
It contains olmesartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), and metoprolol, a beta-blocker, which lower blood pressure in two different ways.
Take it at the same time each day as prescribed, and do not stop it suddenly, as the beta-blocker must be reduced gradually.
Do not use it in pregnancy. Tell your doctor about any asthma, breathing problems, a slow heart rate or diabetes before use, as it can mask the warning signs of low blood sugar. Report a very slow pulse or breathlessness.
