Nurokind Od Injection 1ml

Nurokind-OD Injection is used to correct vitamin B12 deficiency and manage megaloblastic anaemia. It also helps relieve nerve damage symptoms such as tingling, numbness, and weakness, supporting healthy nerve function and red blood cell production.

Administer Nurokind-OD Injection as follows:

• It's an intramuscular injection, which means it's administered into a muscle.
• Ensure the solution is clear and doesn't have any suspended matter before use.
• Storage should be in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, away from light.

Nurokind-OD Injection is administered via an intramuscular route.

Nurokind-OD Injection contains mecobalamin (500 mcg) and works in the following manner:

• Facilitates DNA and hormone synthesis: Mecobalamin assists in turning the amino acid homocysteine into another important amino acid called methionine. This is important for subsequent metabolic processes required in DNA synthesis (especially of myelin, the sheath covering the nerves) and hormone production.
• Produces red blood cell hemoglobin: Mecobalamin facilitates the transformation of L-methylmalonyl-CoA into succinyl-CoA. This biochemical reaction is essential in metabolising fats and proteins, and it also aids in producing haemoglobin, a protein that carries oxygen in your red blood cells.
