Coldact New Capsule 20 may interact with the following medicines:

• Medicines for high blood pressure or heart disease (such as beta-blockers or other antihypertensives): The decongestant component may reduce the effect of blood pressure medicines or cause a rise in blood pressure. Monitoring may be required.
• Other cold, cough, or allergy medicines (especially those containing antihistamines or decongestants): Taking multiple similar medicines together may increase the risk of excessive drowsiness, dizziness, fast heartbeat, or raised blood pressure.
• Antidepressants (MAO inhibitors or tricyclic antidepressants): Using these medicines together can significantly increase blood pressure or heart-related side effects. This combination should be avoided unless advised by a doctor.
• Other decongestants or stimulant medicines (such as pseudoephedrine or other phenylephrine-containing products): Using these together may significantly increase the risk of high blood pressure, fast heartbeat, or nervous system side effects. Such combinations should be avoided.

Caffeine or other stimulants may increase restlessness or heart rate when taken with this medicine. Limiting stimulant intake is advised.

Coldact New Capsule 20 should be used with caution in the following conditions:

• High blood pressure or heart disease: This medicine may increase heart rate or blood pressure in some people, which can worsen existing heart conditions or hypertension.
• Glaucoma: The antihistamine component may increase pressure inside the eyes, potentially worsening glaucoma symptoms.
• Prostate enlargement or difficulty in urination: This medicine may cause urinary retention and can worsen symptoms in people with an enlarged prostate.
• Thyroid disorders: People with thyroid problems may experience increased sensitivity to the decongestant effects, leading to palpitations or nervousness.

The daily dose of Coldact New Capsule 20 should be taken exactly as advised by your doctor. The dose depends on the severity of allergy or cold symptoms and how well you respond to the medicine. It should be taken as prescribed and not more frequently than advised.

Taking more than the recommended dose of Coldact New Capsule 20 may cause excessive drowsiness, dizziness, restlessness, fast heartbeat, raised blood pressure, or confusion. If an overdose is suspected, seek medical attention immediately.

If you miss a dose of Coldact New Capsule 20, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
