CompositionCovance D Tablet 10 is used to manage high blood pressure in adults, to lower the risk of stroke in people with an enlarged heart muscle, and to help protect the kidneys in people with high blood pressure and diabetes.
It contains losartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes the blood vessels, and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic that helps the body remove excess salt and water.
Take it at the same time each day, and continue it even when you feel well.
Do not use it in pregnancy. Tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems, or gout, before use. Because it contains a water tablet, your doctor may check your body salts and kidney function. Report marked dizziness or muscle cramps.
