• This combination can cause dizziness and lightheadedness, especially when standing up suddenly. Until you know how the medication affects you, avoid driving, operating heavy machinery, or engaging in activities that require focus.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• Hydrochlorothiazide + Losartan is not safe during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can harm the developing baby. Breastfeeding mothers should avoid this medication, as Hydrochlorothiazide can reduce milk production, and Losartan may pass into breast milk.

• Patients with kidney disease, liver disease, heart failure, diabetes, or electrolyte imbalances (low potassium or sodium levels) should take this medication with caution. Regular blood pressure monitoring and electrolyte checks are essential to avoid complications.
