Lodoz 5 Tablet is used for the following:

Here are the guidelines for taking Lodoz 5 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Don't chew or crush it.

• You can take it with or without food.

• Make sure you take it at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels.

• If you are thinking about stopping the medicine, consult your doctor first.

Lodoz 5 Tablet is taken orally.

Lodoz 5 Tablet comprises two active ingredients:

• Bisoprolol (5 mg): As a cardioselective beta-blocker, bisoprolol works by blocking beta-1 receptors in your heart. This action leads to a decrease in heart rate and a reduction in the force of heart contractions. As a result, the workload on your heart lessens and this helps lower your blood pressure.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (6.25 mg): This component is a thiazide diuretic that acts on your kidneys. It inhibits the reabsorption of sodium and chloride in the distal tubules of your kidneys, causing an increase in the excretion of sodium, chloride, and water.
