It contains bisoprolol, a beta-blocker, and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic (water tablet). Bisoprolol slows the heart rate and reduces the force of its contraction, while hydrochlorothiazide helps the body remove excess salt and water. Take it as prescribed at the same time each day. Do not stop it suddenly.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any breathing problems, gout, diabetes, kidney or liver problems, or other medicines you take. Your doctor may check your kidney function and blood salts, including potassium and uric acid, from time to time. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
