Concor T 2.5 Tablet 10

Concor T 2.5 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Management of essential hypertension in adults

• Controlling high blood pressure

• Prevention of heart attacks

• Reduction of stroke risk

• Management of cardiovascular complications

• Alternative therapy for patients intolerant to ACE inhibitors

• Reduction of cardiac workload

• Improving blood vessel function

Follow these instructions while taking Concor T 2.5 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day for best results.

• This medicine can be taken with or without food.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly even if you feel well.

• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Concor T 2.5 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Concor T 2.5 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Bisoprolol (2.5 mg): This is a selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker that reduces heart rate and decreases the force of heart contractions. By doing so, it lowers cardiac output and reduces the workload on your heart, helping to bring down blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This component blocks the effects of a hormone called angiotensin II by binding to specific receptors (AT1 receptors) in your body. This action causes blood vessels to widen (vasodilation), reduces resistance in blood vessels, and decreases blood pressure.

• Keep Concor T 2.5 Tablet 10 in its original packaging at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Keep medicine out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Discard any unused medicine properly.

• Reduce your salt intake to help manage hypertension (high blood pressure). Aim for less than 5g of salt per day by avoiding processed foods and not adding extra salt to meals.

• Engage in regular aerobic exercise, such as brisk walking, for at least 30 minutes daily to help naturally lower your blood pressure and improve cardiovascular health.
