Jalra Dp Tablet 10

Jalra-DP Tablet is used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes. It lowers blood glucose levels through its insulin-independent action, enhances pancreatic function, and complements diet and exercise as part of a comprehensive diabetes management plan.

When taking Jalra-DP Tablet, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew it.
• You can take this medicine with or without food.
• Try to take your medicine at the same time each day to help remember.
• Do not adjust your dosage without consulting your doctor first.
• Should you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one.
• Never take two doses at once to make up for a forgotten one.

Jalra-DP Tablet is taken orally.

Jalra-DP Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): This ingredient works by selectively inhibiting a protein known as sodiumglucose cotransporter2 (SGLT2) found in the kidneys. By blocking this protein, dapagliflozin reduces the reabsorption of glucose back into the blood and increases its excretion through urine. This action helps reduce blood glucose levels.
• Vildagliptin (100 mg): As a dipeptidyl peptidase4 (DPP 4) inhibitor, vildagliptin functions by slowing down the breakdown of incretin hormones in your body. These hormones play a crucial role in managing sugar levels by enhancing pancreatic islet alpha and beta cell function in response to meals. In simpler terms, they help your body produce more insulin when needed and reduce the amount of glucose your liver makes.

Together, dapagliflozin and vildagliptin work in harmony to manage blood glucose levels effectively in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

• Store Jalra-DP Tablet at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.
• Keep it away from excessive heat and moisture.
