Davi-OD 10 Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults: This medicine helps in controlling blood sugar levels when used as part of a comprehensive diabetes management plan including diet and exercise.

• Supplement to other antidiabetic medications: It can be used alongside other diabetes treatments such as metformin when these alone are not sufficiently controlling blood sugar levels.

Davi-OD 10 Tablet is taken orally.

Davi-OD 10 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): Belonging to the class of sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors, dapagliflozin blocks the reabsorption of glucose in your kidneys. This leads to more glucose being expelled through urine, subsequently lowering the amount of glucose in your blood.

• Vildagliptin (100 mg): As a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, vildagliptin stops an enzyme called DPP-4 from breaking down certain hormones that help regulate insulin and glucagon levels in your body. By preventing these hormones from breaking down, vildagliptin enhances insulin secretion and suppresses glucagon release depending on your glucose levels.

• The best storage temperature is room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius.
