Imol Suspension is used to manage mild to moderate pain and fever in children, including discomfort from teething, headaches, sore throat, ear infections and the common cold, as well as pain following immunisation.

Uses of Imol Suspension are:

• Pain Relief: Eases headaches, toothache, muscular aches and menstrual cramps in adolescents.
• Fever Reduction: Lowers fever caused by infections, colds or immunisation.
• Childhood Illnesses: Relieves discomfort from ear infections, sore throat and other common childhood conditions.

Imol Suspension should be given to your child as follows:

• Shake the bottle well before each use to ensure the medicine is well-mixed.

• Using the provided measuring cup or spoon, measure out the exact dose recommended by your child's doctor.

• Give the suspension orally to your child, preferably with food or milk, to minimise the risk of stomach upset.

Imol Suspension is given orally.

Imol Suspension contains two active ingredients that work together:

• Ibuprofen (100 mg): When you give your child ibuprofen, it lowers the levels of prostaglandins in their body, which helps to reduce pain and swelling and also brings down fever. By blocking the enzymes that make prostaglandins, which are called cyclooxygenase (COX), ibuprofen helps reduce these symptoms.

• Paracetamol/acetaminophen (162.5 mg): When your child gets hurt or feels sick, their body makes chemicals called prostaglandins that cause inflammation and pain. Paracetamol helps stop their body from making so many of these prostaglandins, which reduces their pain and fever.

  Additionally, it reduces the sensitivity of pain receptors, which helps in managing pain.

• Store Imol Suspension at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Make sure the bottle is tightly sealed when not in use.

• Always keep Imol Suspension out of reach of children.

• Use this medicine before its expiration date to ensure its effectiveness.

• If you are giving your child this medicine to manage their dental pain, try to encourage them to maintain a diet low in sugar to avoid further tooth decay.

• For muscular aches or backaches, engage your child in light physical activities such as stretching exercises or walking, which can improve muscle flexibility and reduce discomfort.
