Imextor 1000 Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

• Improving glycaemic control in diabetic patients

• Complementing diet and exercise for diabetes control

• Controlling high blood sugar levels

• Enhancing insulin sensitivity in the body

• Stimulating insulin production in response to glucose

• Reducing insulin resistance in target tissues

• Supporting mitochondrial function in diabetic patients

• Adjunct therapy with other diabetes medicines

Follow these instructions while taking Imextor 1000 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Aim to take the tablet at the same time each day to benefit from its efficacy.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

Imextor 1000 Tablet is taken orally.

Imextor 1000 Tablet contains Imeglimin (1000 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Stimulates insulin secretion: Imeglimin enhances the release of insulin from your pancreas when your blood glucose levels are high, helping to bring them back to normal.

• Improves insulin sensitivity: This medicine makes your body's cells more responsive to insulin, allowing them to take up glucose more effectively from your bloodstream.

• Enhances mitochondrial function: Imeglimin works on mitochondria (the energy-producing parts of your cells) to improve their function, which helps reduce insulin resistance in various tissues.

• Dual mechanism: Unlike many other diabetes medicines, imeglimin has a unique dual action that addresses both insulin secretion and insulin resistance, providing comprehensive blood sugar control.

• Store Imextor 1000 Tablet below 30°C in a cool, dry place.

• Keep the medicine in its original packaging, protected from direct sunlight and moisture.
