Lupimeg Sr Tablet 10

Lupimeg Sr Tablet 10 is used for:

• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus
• Controlling high blood sugar levels
• Helping reduce the risk of long-term diabetes complications such as heart disease, kidney damage, nerve problems, and vision issues

Follow these instructions while taking Lupimeg Sr Tablet 10:

• Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.
• Take this medicine at the same time each day for better blood sugar control.
• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, even if your blood sugar levels improve.

Lupimeg Sr Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Lupimeg Sr Tablet 10 contains the following active component:

• Imeglimin (1000 mg): This medicine works in a unique way by improving how the body’s cells produce and use energy. It acts on the mitochondria (the energy centres of cells) to help correct the imbalance that occurs in type 2 diabetes.

• Store Lupimeg Sr Tablet 10 at a temperature below 30°C.
• Keep the medicine in its original packaging to protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Avoid excess sugar and refined carbohydrates: Sweets, sugary drinks, white bread, and packaged foods can raise blood sugar levels and reduce the effectiveness of Lupimeg Sr Tablet 10.
• Do not skip meals: Skipping meals while taking anti-diabetic medicines can increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia).
