CompositionHyane Eye Drops 5ml are lubricating eye drops used for the temporary relief of burning, irritation and discomfort caused by dry eye syndrome. It is a combination medicine containing sodium hyaluronate (a lubricant that holds moisture on the eye surface) and oxychloro complex (a preservative that keeps the solution free from contamination), and belongs to a class of medicines called ophthalmic lubricating agents.
This medicine works by forming a moist, protective layer over the eye that stabilises the tear film and supports healing of minor injuries to the surface of the eye. Wash your hands, instil the drops into the affected eye or eyes as directed by your doctor, and avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or any surface. Wait 5 minutes before using any other eye drops.
Taking regular breaks from screens, blinking often while reading or using digital devices, and using a humidifier in dry environments can help reduce dry eye symptoms alongside these drops.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you wear contact lenses (remove them before use and ask when to put them back), have an eye infection, or use other eye medicines. Seek medical advice if eye pain, redness, vision changes or your symptoms persist or worsen.
