Formoflo 250 Transcaps are used for the long-term management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). They works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and reducing inflammation, making breathing easier and preventing asthma attacks.

• Inhale the contents of one capsule twice daily, roughly 12 hours apart, using only the Lupin Revolizer inhaler device.

• Do not swallow the capsules. They are meant for oral inhalation only.

• After each inhalation dose, rinse your mouth with water but don't swallow it. This helps reduce the risk of thrush, a type of fungal infection.

Formoflo 250 Transcaps consists of two components:

• Fluticasone Propionate (250 mcg): As a synthetic corticosteroid, it works by reducing inflammation in the airways. By decreasing swelling and mucus production, fluticasone propionate helps make breathing easier and manages symptoms such as wheezing and shortness of breath.

• Formoterol Fumarate (6 mcg): This is a long-acting beta2-adrenergic receptor agonist. It stimulates beta2-receptors in the lungs, causing relaxation of muscles around the airways. This results in bronchodilation - the widening of airways which makes breathing easier. Additionally, formoterol inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators from mast cells in the lungs.
