Formoflo 250 Transhaler is used for the regular long-term treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps prevent symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath, allowing for clearer breathing throughout the day.
It contains formoterol (a long-acting bronchodilator) and fluticasone (a corticosteroid). Use it regularly every day as prescribed, even when you feel well, and rinse your mouth with water after each use to reduce the risk of oral fungal infections. Do not use this inhaler to treat a sudden asthma attack.
Avoiding personal asthma triggers, such as cold air, smoke, pollen, and dust, plays a key role in maintaining airway stability. Keeping an action plan and attending regular medical reviews also support good long-term lung health.
Before using this inhaler, inform your doctor if you have heart conditions, high blood pressure, thyroid disorders, diabetes, or tuberculosis. Contact your doctor immediately if your breathing worsens or if your fast-acting reliever inhaler becomes less effective.
