Flotral D Tablet is a medicine used to manage the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also known as an enlarged prostate, in adult men.
It combines alfuzosin, an alpha-1 adrenergic blocker, with dutasteride, a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor. It helps relax the muscles around the bladder and prostate while gradually reducing the size of the enlarged prostate gland over time.
It may take several months of regular use before you notice the full benefit in urine flow and prostate size. Continue taking it as prescribed, even if your symptoms improve.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver problems, low blood pressure, or a history of fainting. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not handle broken or crushed tablets, as dutasteride can be absorbed through the skin.
