Fenolip Tablet 10

Fenolip Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Reducing high levels of bad cholesterol

• Lowering elevated triglycerides in the blood

• Increasing good cholesterol levels

• Managing hyperlipidemia

• Preventing heart attack and stroke risks

• Supporting comprehensive lipid management

• Complementing statin therapy for better results

• Addressing blood fat abnormalities in type 2 diabetes

• Controlling lipid disorders with hypertension

• Reducing cardiovascular risks in metabolic disorders

• Swallow the medicine whole with a glass of water.

• Take this medicine with meals for better absorption.

• Do not crush, break or chew the medicine.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly as advised by your doctor.

Fenolip Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Fenolip Tablet 10 contains fenofibrate (160 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• PPAR-Alpha Activation: Fenofibrate activates a protein called peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPAR-alpha), which regulates how your body processes fats.

• Enhanced Lipid Metabolism: It increases the breakdown of fats in your bloodstream, helping your body process and eliminate excess fatty substances more efficiently.

• LDL and Triglyceride Reduction: The medicine reduces the production and improves the clearance of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and triglycerides, which are harmful fats that can build up in your blood vessels.

• HDL Elevation: It significantly raises the levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, often called "good" cholesterol, which helps remove other forms of cholesterol from your bloodstream.

• Store Fenolip Tablet 10 at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.

• Keep the medicines in their original packaging until you need to use them.

• Protect from light and moisture.

• Store safely out of reach of children and pets.

• Do not use Fenolip Tablet 10 after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Follow a heart-healthy diet low in saturated fats and cholesterol to help manage hyperlipidaemia (high blood fat levels) alongside your medicine.

• Regular physical activity for at least 30 minutes daily can help improve your cholesterol levels and enhance the effectiveness of fenofibrate in managing your lipid profile.
