CompositionTg Fit 160 Tablet 10 is used to lower high triglycerides and cholesterol in adults, including raising HDL (good) cholesterol, as part of managing mixed dyslipidaemia and hyperlipidaemia that cannot be controlled by diet alone. It contains fenofibrate.
Fenofibrate primarily lowers triglycerides and raises protective HDL cholesterol, which helps improve the overall balance of blood fats and reduce the risk of pancreatitis linked to very high triglyceride levels.
Take this tablet daily, with or without food, at the same time each day as your doctor prescribes, and continue even if your lipid levels improve.
Tell your doctor if you notice unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness, particularly if you are also taking a statin, as this increases the risk of a serious muscle problem. This medicine is not suitable in pregnancy, and your doctor may check your liver function periodically.
