CompositionTGR Tablet is used to manage high levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. Containing fenofibrate, it works to regulate lipid levels by increasing the breakdown of triglycerides and lowering VLDL (very low-density lipoprotein). It also helps to increase HDL ('good' cholesterol) and reduces the risk of pancreatitis in patients with extremely high triglycerides.
TGR Tablet is utilised for decreasing high levels of LDL cholesterol, lowering overall cholesterol, and reducing excessive triglycerides, while also boosting HDL cholesterol. It manages medical conditions characterized by abnormally high lipid levels, specifically hyperlipidemia and mixed dyslipidemia. It is also used for preventing pancreatitis in individuals with very high triglyceride levels.
Swallow the tablet whole with a drink of water.
Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Make sure you take this medicine at the same time each day for optimal results.

TGR Tablet is taken orally.

Reduction in Apoprotein C-III Production: Fenofibrate also reduces the production of apoprotein C-III which is involved in fat metabolism.
Alteration of LDL Particles: This medicine alters the size and composition of LDL particles, making them less likely to cause hardening of arteries (atherogenesis).
Increased Affinity for Cholesterol Receptors: Larger LDL particles have a higher affinity for cholesterol receptors due to fenofibrate, leading to rapid catabolism.
Caution is advised while taking TGR Tablet if you are pregnant. It is best to consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
If you are breastfeeding, it's crucial to discuss with your doctor prior to starting TGR Tablet.
It's recommended to limit alcohol consumption while on TGR Tablet as it may exacerbate certain side effects.
