About Febumac-40 Tablet

Febumac-40 Tablet is used to lower high uric acid levels in the blood (hyperuricaemia) in people with gout. It is a single-ingredient xanthine oxidase inhibitor containing febuxostat.

It helps prevent gout attacks and the build-up of uric acid crystals in the joints, but it is not used to treat a gout attack that has already started. Take it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and continue it even when you have no gout symptoms.
