Exfaro 300 Tablet 10 contains faropenem (300 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Inhibits Bacterial Cell Wall Synthesis: Faropenem works by binding to and inactivating penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), enzymes required for the cross-linking of peptidoglycan chains in the bacterial cell wall. This weakening of the cell wall leads to cell lysis and death.
