• Potassium-sparing medicines: Medicines like spironolactone and amiloride can increase potassium levels in your blood when taken with eplerenone, potentially causing dangerous hyperkalaemia.

• ACE inhibitors/ARBs: Medicines such as ramipril, lisinopril or valsartan can raise potassium levels when combined with Eptus T 10 Kit Tablet 20.

• Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors: Medicines like ketoconazole and clarithromycin can increase eplerenone levels in your blood, potentially causing toxicity.

• NSAIDs: Medicines such as ibuprofen and diclofenac can reduce the effectiveness of both components and may worsen kidney function.

• High-potassium foods: Avoid high-potassium foods (like bananas, oranges, and salt substitutes) as they may increase the risk of hyperkalaemia due to eplerenone.

Eptus T 10 Kit Tablet 20 interacts with the following diseases:

• Severe kidney disease: This medicine can worsen kidney function and cause dangerous electrolyte imbalances in patients with existing severe renal impairment.

• Hyperkalaemia: The eplerenone component can further increase potassium levels, worsening this condition.

• Severe liver disease: Patients with significant liver impairment may experience altered medication metabolism, increasing the risk of side effects.

• Diabetes: This medicine may affect blood sugar control, requiring closer monitoring of glucose levels.

The daily dose of Eptus T 10 Kit Tablet 20 should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. Your dosage may change based on your kidney function, potassium levels, and how you respond to treatment. Never exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

Overdosing on this medicine may cause severe dizziness, extreme weakness, dehydration, low blood pressure, and electrolyte imbalances (changes in your body's salt levels). Contact your doctor if you suspect an overdose has occurred.

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your regular schedule. Never double the dose to make up for a missed one.
