Empagreat 25 Tablet is used to control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes and may also help reduce the risk of heart and kidney complications in eligible adults.

Uses of Empagreat 25 Tablet are:

• Type 2 Diabetes: Lowers blood sugar when diet and exercise alone are not enough.
• Heart Failure: May help reduce the risk of hospital admission due to heart failure.
• Chronic Kidney Disease: Helps protect kidney function and may help slow the progression of kidney disease.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or split the tablet.
• Take the medicine at the same time every day.
• Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.

Empagreat 25 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Empagreat 25 Tablet 10 contains empagliflozin (25 mg):

• Empagliflozin blocks the SGLT2 protein in the kidneys, preventing glucose reabsorption into the bloodstream. This leads to increased glucose elimination through urine, thereby lowering blood sugar levels. Additionally, it helps reduce cardiovascular risks, supports kidney function, and improves outcomes in patients with heart failure.
