Pacitane Tablet is used to manage the symptoms of Parkinson's disease and drug-induced movement problems (extrapyramidal symptoms), reducing muscle stiffness, tremors and involuntary movements and improving balance and coordination.
It contains trihexyphenidyl, an anticholinergic. It works by correcting the chemical balance in the brain that controls movement.
Take the tablet strictly as prescribed. It may be given alongside levodopa to improve overall symptom control.
Tell your doctor about any glaucoma, heart problems or urinary difficulty before starting, as it can worsen these. Report blurred vision, a dry mouth or difficulty passing urine.
