Domstal DT Tablet is used to manage symptoms of indigestion, such as stomach pain, bloating, and a feeling of excessive fullness. It is also frequently prescribed to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting, especially following surgery or as a result of certain medications. The dispersible (DT) format allows for easy administration and improved gastric comfort.

Here's how you should take the Domstal DT Tablet:

• Disperse the tablet in a teaspoonful of water before consumption.

• Make sure to swallow the dispersed tablet as a whole; avoid chewing it.

• Always take this medicine as directed by your doctor; do not alter the dosage on your own.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

• It's advisable to take this medicine on an empty stomach for optimal effect.

Domstal DT Tablet is taken orally.

Domstal DT Tablet contains domperidone (10 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Acts on the Chemoreceptor Trigger Zone: Domperidone acts on a part of the brain known as the chemoreceptor trigger zone. This area controls the vomiting reflex, so by acting here, domperidone helps prevent and control nausea and vomiting.

• Enhances Gastrointestinal Motility: Domperidone also works by increasing the movement of food through your stomach and intestines. This action helps manage symptoms like bloating, fullness, and discomfort in your stomach associated with indigestion.

Store your Domstal DT Tablet at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep the medicine away from light and moisture.

• Always ensure that the medicine is kept out of reach of children.

• Use the tablet before its expiry date.

• If you're experiencing indigestion, try to include more fibre-rich foods in your diet, such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, which can help improve digestion.
