CompositionDiziron Tablet is used to manage dizziness, nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness and inner ear disorders (vertigo). It contains cinnarizine, an antihistamine with calcium channel blocking properties.
Cinnarizine works by reducing the sensitivity of the balance organs in the inner ear and calming the part of the brain that triggers nausea, which helps control dizziness, vomiting and the imbalance felt during vertigo or motion sickness.
Take this tablet as your doctor prescribes, generally with food to reduce stomach upset, and for motion sickness take it a little before travelling for the best effect.
This medicine can cause drowsiness, so take care while driving or operating machinery, and avoid alcohol, which can add to this effect. Tell your doctor if you have Parkinson's disease, as cinnarizine can occasionally worsen tremor and stiffness.
