Diflucor Eye Drops are used to manage inflammation and pain following eye surgery, and to treat endogenous anterior uveitis, an inflammatory condition affecting the inside of the eye.

Uses of Diflucor Eye Drops are:

• Post-Surgical Inflammation: Manages inflammation and pain following eye surgery.
• Eye Symptoms: Eases redness, swelling and watering of the eyes after surgery.
• Uveitis: Manages inflammation inside the eye caused by endogenous anterior uveitis.

The correct way to use Diflucor Eye Drops is as follows:

• Ensure your hands are clean before handling the eye drops.

• Shake well before use.

• Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull down your lower eyelid to make a small pocket.

• Hold the dropper close to your eye without touching it.

• Gently squeeze a few drops as prescribed by your doctor into your eye and close it.

• Press your finger to the inner corner of your eye to prevent the drop from draining out.

• If you're using other eye medications, wait at least five minutes before instilling them.

• Remember to consult a doctor for specific advice.

Diflucor Eye Drops contain two active ingredients:

• Difluprednate (0.5 mg): This strong corticosteroid has potent anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties. It works by blocking an enzyme called phospholipase A2 in your body. • Sorbic Acid (0.1%): This ingredient doesn't directly contribute to healing or alleviating symptoms but serves a crucial role in maintaining the sterility of the eye drops. Acting as a preservative, it inhibits the growth of microorganisms in the ophthalmic emulsion.
