Daparyl 10 Tablet may cause genital infections, including vaginal itching and frequent urination. Other potential side effects include dehydration, weakness, and dizziness. Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) can occur, especially when taken with other antidiabetic medications like insulin or sulfonylureas. It is essential to maintain proper hydration and monitor blood sugar levels regularly. If these symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

• Swallow the Daparyl 10 Tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change the prescribed dose or take them more often than prescribed.

Daparyl 10 Tablet is taken orally.

Daparyl 10 Tablet contains the following components:

• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): It is a sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT-2) inhibitor and works by stopping the action of a protein called SGLT-2 in the kidneys. This action controls the reabsorption of glucose and sodium ions in the kidneys. By inhibiting reabsorption, dapagliflozin helps excrete excess glucose from the body through urine, leading to decreased blood sugar levels.
• Dapagliflozin not only lowers blood sugar but also protects kidney function and prevents further damage. Additionally, it reduces the stress on the heart, making it to pump blood more efficiently with less pressure.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 20-25 ºC.
• Keep Daparyl 10 Tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Include foods with a low glycemic index green leafy vegetables, whole grains, berries, citrus fruits, chia seeds, bitter gourd, and extra virgin olive oil.
• Limit your intake of processed and high-sugar foods, as they can cause sharp increases in blood sugar levels. 
• Avoid refined sugar in any form. Instead, consider using natural sweeteners such as stevia, sugar alcohols, yacon syrup, allulose, and monk fruit sweeteners.
• Monitor your sodium intake to prevent heart conditions associated with diabetes. It is recommended to keep your daily sodium intake below 5 grams.
• Monitor your blood sugar levels and communicate openly with your doctor to adjust your treatment plan.
