Clavidur 625 Tablet is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including infections of the chest and airways, ears, sinuses, urinary tract, skin, and bones and joints.
It contains amoxicillin, a penicillin antibiotic, and clavulanic acid, which protects amoxicillin from being broken down by certain bacteria. This makes the medicine effective against some bacteria that would otherwise resist treatment. Take it with food as prescribed to reduce stomach upset.
Simple measures support recovery. Get adequate rest, stay well hydrated, and complete the full prescribed course even if you feel better, to help prevent the infection from returning and to reduce the risk of antibiotic resistance.
Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor if you are allergic to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, or if you have a history of liver or kidney problems. Contact your doctor promptly if you develop a severe skin rash, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or severe loose motions.
