Allercet Tablet 10

Allercet Tablet is used to manage allergic conditions of the nose, eyes and skin.

Uses of Allercet Tablet are:

• Hay Fever and Allergic Rhinitis: Relieves sneezing, runny nose and itchy nose or throat.

• Eye Allergy: Eases itchy, red and watery eyes.

• Skin Allergies: Relieves itching, swelling and rashes from eczema and hives.

To use Allercet Tablet effectively:

• Follow your doctor's instructions for dosage and timing.
• Take the tablet with or without food as advised.
• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it's almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose.
• Store the tablets at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F).
• Consult a doctor before giving this medicine to children aged below six years.

Allercet Tablet is taken orally, which means it is swallowed with water. It should not be used externally or injected.

Active Ingredient: Cetirizine Hydrochloride

• Cetirizine hydrochloride works by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger called histamine in the body.
• By doing so, it helps to relieve allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes.
• It specifically targets histamine receptors in the body to prevent the release of histamine and minimise its effects.
• This action reduces inflammation and alleviates symptoms like a runny nose, sneezing, and itchy/watery eyes.
• Cetirizine hydrochloride is classified as an anti-allergic medicine due to its ability to counteract histamine's effects.

• Store Allercet Tablet between 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F).
• Keep the bottle tightly closed and protected from light and moisture.
• Store it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
• Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not use the medicine if the seal over the bottle opening is broken or missing.
• Always check the expiry date before using the product.
