CompositionAlday 10 Tablet is used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, and itchy, watery eyes. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing cetirizine, which belongs to a class of medicines called antihistamines (anti-allergic medicines).
This medicine is also used to relieve itching and rash caused by chronic urticaria (long-lasting hives). It helps with seasonal allergies such as hay fever and year-round allergies to dust mites, mould or pet dander. Take it with or without food, usually once a day, in the dose prescribed by your doctor.
Avoiding known triggers such as dust, pollen and pet dander, keeping windows closed on high-pollen days and washing bedding regularly can reduce allergy symptoms.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, epilepsy or difficulty passing urine, and about other medicines you take. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It may cause drowsiness in some people, so take care when driving and avoid alcohol. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
