Cepocef CV 325 Tablet is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including infections of the airways, urinary tract, and skin. It is especially useful for infections caused by bacteria that resist ordinary penicillin-type antibiotics.
It contains cefpodoxime, a cephalosporin antibiotic that stops bacteria from building their protective cell wall, and clavulanic acid, which protects the antibiotic from being broken down by certain bacteria. Take it at the start of a meal as directed to improve absorption.
Simple measures support recovery. Get adequate rest, stay well hydrated, and complete the full course even if you feel better, to help the infection clear and reduce the risk of resistance.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any allergy to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, or any kidney problems, and about other medicines you take. Report any severe loose motions, skin rash, or signs of an allergic reaction promptly.
