Candidox Lotion 30Ml

CANDIDOX LOTION 30ML is used for managing the following conditions:

• Fungal nail infections (onychomycosis)
• Ringworm (tinea corporis)
• Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)
• Jock itch (tinea cruris)

Use CANDIDOX LOTION 30ML in the following way:

• Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly before application.
• Apply a thin layer to the affected skin. For nail infections, use only if specifically prescribed for nail application.
• Gently rub into the skin until absorbed. For nails, apply as directed without rubbing excessively.
• Do not cover the treated area with tight or occlusive dressings unless advised by your doctor.
• Wash your hands after application unless they are the treated area.

CANDIDOX LOTION 30ML is applied topically.

CANDIDOX LOTION 30ML contains ciclopirox (1%). It works as follows:

• It works by chelating metal ions within fungal cells, thereby inhibiting essential enzymes and disrupting cellular processes, leading to fungal cell death. It may also exhibit mild anti-inflammatory effects, helping reduce associated irritation.

• Store below 30°C in a cool and dry place.
• Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Keep the affected area clean and dry to prevent fungal growth.
• Wear loose, breathable clothing such as cotton to reduce moisture buildup.
• Avoid sharing personal items like towels, socks, or nail tools.
• Trim nails regularly and maintain proper hygiene to prevent reinfection.
• Change socks and undergarments daily, especially if prone to sweating.
