Nailrox Cream is used to treat athlete's foot (Tinea pedis), jock itch (Tinea cruris), ringworm of the body (Tinea corporis), yeast infections of the skin (cutaneous candidiasis), and pityriasis versicolor, a skin condition causing small, scaly patches.
Use Nailrox Cream as directed below:
Ensure your hands and the affected skin area are clean before application.
Apply a thin layer of the cream on the affected area.
Gently massage the cream until it is absorbed into the skin.
Wash your hands after applying unless they are the treatment site.

Inhibits Metal-dependent Enzymes: Ciclopirox also inhibits metal-dependent enzymes such as catalase and peroxidase within fungal cells. This leads to an accumulation of toxic peroxide within these cells, causing damage and eventually leading to their death.
Penetration into Stratum Corneum: The cream formulation of Nailrox Cream allows ciclopirox to penetrate into the stratum corneum, or outer layer of your skin, to effectively reach and act on the fungi causing the infection.
Caution is advised while applying Nailrox Cream if you are pregnant. It's best to consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Breastfeeding mothers should use Nailrox Cream with caution. Your doctor can guide you about the potential risks and benefits.
