Calcigard Retard Tablet 10 is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and to prevent the chest pain of angina (angina pectoris). It contains nifedipine, a calcium channel blocker.

This medicine helps improve the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart, which can help prevent or reduce angina episodes.

Reducing the salt in your diet, staying active within your doctor's advice, keeping to a healthy weight and limiting alcohol support better blood pressure control alongside this medicine.

Before starting, tell your doctor about any heart or liver problems, and about all other medicines you take. Report marked ankle swelling, a fast heartbeat or any swelling of the gums.

Calcigard Retard Tablet 10 is used in adults to manage high blood pressure and to prevent the chest pain of angina pectoris caused by reduced blood flow to the heart.

Uses of Calcigard Retard Tablet 10 are:

High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure.
Angina: Helps prevent or reduce episodes of chest pain (angina pectoris).

When taking Calcigard Retard Tablet, follow these instructions:

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not chew, break or crush the tablet.
Take your medicine at the same time each day for consistent blood levels.
Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.
