Before starting, tell your doctor about any heart or liver problems or other medicines you take. Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice while taking it, as they can affect how it works. Mild swelling of the ankles (peripheral oedema), flushing or headache can occur, especially at first; tell your doctor if these persist.
