Budamate 400 Transhaler is used for the long-term management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults. It helps control and prevent symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath.
It is a combination inhaler containing a corticosteroid and a long-acting bronchodilator. Use it regularly as prescribed, even when you feel well, and do not stop it suddenly. It is for ongoing control and is not a reliever for sudden breathlessness.
Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after each dose to lower the risk of mouth infections and hoarseness. Using the correct inhaler technique, keeping up with vaccinations, and quitting smoking all help protect your lungs.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor about any heart problems, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, or low potassium levels, and about other medicines you take. Tell your doctor if your usual reliever inhaler is needed more often or works less well. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
