Budamate 400 Transhaler is used for the regular, long-term control of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults, helping prevent wheezing, cough, chest tightness and breathlessness.
It contains budesonide, an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation, and formoterol, a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes and opens the airways.
Use it regularly through the inhaler as prescribed, even when you feel well, and do not stop it suddenly. It is for ongoing control, not for sudden breathlessness, so keep a reliever inhaler. Rinse your mouth with water after each dose.
Tell your doctor about any heart problems, an overactive thyroid, diabetes or low potassium before use. Tell your doctor if your reliever inhaler is needed more often or works less well.
