Formonide 400 Inhaler is used to manage the symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps ease difficulty breathing, wheezing, and coughing, making it easier to carry out daily activities.
It is an inhaled combination medicine containing a corticosteroid, which reduces inflammation in the airways, and a long-acting bronchodilator, which relaxes the airway muscles. Use it by inhalation as prescribed, and keep a separate reliever inhaler on hand for sudden breathlessness. Do not stop using this medicine suddenly without your doctor's advice.
Rinsing your mouth with water after each dose helps prevent a sore mouth or hoarse voice. Avoiding smoke and known triggers, and staying active within your ability, can also support your breathing alongside this medicine.
Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor about any heart problems, diabetes, or thyroid problems, and about other medicines you take. Contact your doctor if you notice a fast or irregular heartbeat, marked tremor, or worsening breathlessness.
