Formonide 400 Respicaps are used for the long-term management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), reducing airway inflammation and keeping the airways open. They are not for the relief of a sudden attack.
They contain budesonide, an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, and formoterol, a long-acting bronchodilator that keeps the airways open.
Use them regularly through the inhaler device as prescribed, and never swallow the capsules. Rinse your mouth with water after use, and keep a fast-acting reliever inhaler for sudden symptoms.
Tell your doctor about any heart problems or diabetes before use. Report worsening breathlessness, a fast heartbeat or signs of oral thrush.
