Blumox-Plus Capsule is an antibiotic used for the management of various bacterial infections across the body, including those affecting the respiratory tract (such as pneumonia, bronchitis, and sinusitis), skin and soft tissue, urinary tract (UTIs), dental infections, and infections within the bone and joint structures.

To ensure the proper use of Blumox-Plus Capsule, follow these steps:

Blumox-Plus Capsule is taken orally.

Blumox-Plus Capsule contains two active ingredients that work together to address bacterial infections.

• Amoxicillin (250 mg): This broad-spectrum aminopenicillin interferes with the third and final stage of bacterial cell wall synthesis. By doing so, it prevents the bacterial cells from growing and multiplying, leading to their eventual death.
• Cloxacillin (250 mg): A penicillinase-resistant penicillin, cloxacillin is particularly active against staphylococci bacteria that produce an enzyme called penicillinase. It inhibits the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, causing it to rupture and die.

The combined action of these two components provides expanded coverage against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, making Blumox-Plus Capsule effective in managing numerous bacterial infections.

• Keep Blumox-Plus Capsule at room temperature (20-25°C).
• Store in a tightly closed container, away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight.
• Ensure the medicine is out of reach of children.

• If you are taking Blumox-Plus Capsule for urinary tract infections, increase your water intake. This can help flush bacteria out of your body.
• For respiratory tract infections, avoid smoking or exposure to second-hand smoke. Smoke can irritate your lungs and may worsen your condition.
