Amphy 250/250 MG Capsule 10

Amphy 250/250 MG Capsule 10 is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Respiratory tract infections, like pneumonia and bronchitis
• Common throat infections, such as tonsillitis
• Urinary tract infections, including cystitis and urethritis
• Skin and soft tissue infections, such as cellulitis and abscesses
• Infected wounds on the skin

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid chewing or crushing the capsule.

Amphy 250/250 MG Capsule 10 is composed of two active ingredients:

• Amoxicillin (250 mg): This ingredient works by binding to and inactivating enzymes called penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) within the bacterial cell. PBPs are involved in building and reshaping the bacterial cell wall. By disrupting PBPs' function, amoxicillin weakens the cell wall and causes the bacterium to break down due to an imbalance in fluid content.
• Cloxacillin (250 mg): Similar to amoxicillin, cloxacillin also inhibits PBPs, but it is resistant to being broken down by certain enzymes produced by bacteria known as beta-lactamases. Its special structure allows it to bind PBPs but makes it a poor target for beta-lactamases, which helps it maintain effectiveness against certain strains of staphylococci.
