• Antiepileptic medicines (e.g., phenytoin, carbamazepine): These medicines may increase liver enzyme activity and enhance the metabolism of montelukast, potentially reducing its therapeutic effect.
• Antifungal medicines (e.g., ketoconazole, itraconazole): These medicines may increase bilastine levels by inhibiting transport proteins (such as P-glycoprotein), which may increase the likelihood of side effects such as dizziness or headache.
• Other antihistamines or anti-allergy medicines: Taking multiple antihistamines together may increase the risk of side effects such as dizziness, dry mouth, or fatigue. Always consult your doctor before combining allergy treatments.
