CompositionBilashine Tablet is used to relieve the symptoms of hay fever (allergic rhinitis) and long-term hives, such as sneezing, a runny or blocked nose, itchy watery eyes and itchy skin wheals. It is a single-ingredient antihistamine medicine containing bilastine.
Take it on an empty stomach, an hour before or two hours after food, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Avoid taking it with fruit juice, which can reduce how well it works.
Avoid known triggers such as pollen, dust and pet dander where possible, keep windows closed on high-pollen days and wash bedding regularly.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have moderate to severe kidney problems or a personal or family history of heart-rhythm problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
