Asthakind-DX Junior Cherry Syrup is used in children for the management of common cold, flu, and allergy symptoms, easing nasal and eye discomfort.

Uses of Asthakind-DX Junior Cherry Syrup are:

• Cough Suppression: Suppresses persistent coughing.
• Nasal Congestion: Reduces nasal congestion due to swollen mucous membranes.
• Allergy and Hay Fever Relief: Provides relief from watery and itchy eyes, and calms an itchy nose or throat.
• Upper Respiratory Tract Infections: Manages symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections and flu ailments.

Administer Asthakind-DX Junior Syrup to your child as follows:

• Make sure to shake the bottle well before each use.

• Use the included measuring cup to give the correct dose to your child.

• Remember to recap the bottle properly after use.

• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If your child has diabetes, consult your doctor before giving them this medicine.

Asthakind-DX Junior Syrup contains three active ingredients:

• Chlorpheniramine maleate (1 mg): This is an antihistamine that works by blocking histamine H1 receptors in the body. By doing this, it prevents histamine from causing allergy symptoms like a runny nose or sneezing.

• Dextromethorphan (5 mg): This ingredient is a cough suppressant. It acts on the brain to reduce the cough reflex, helping to manage coughing without addressing its underlying cause.

• Phenylephrine (2.5 mg): As a decongestant, phenylephrine stimulates alpha receptors in the nasal blood vessels, causing them to constrict. This action reduces nasal congestion and swelling.
