Amrolstar Lotion 30ml is used to manage athlete's foot, also known as tinea pedis, jock itch or tinea cruris, and ringworm of the body, known medically as tinea corporis.

Here's how you should apply Amrolstar Lotion 30ml:

• Begin by washing and drying the area where the lotion will be applied.

• The application should be done once or twice daily or as directed by your doctor.
• Remember to wash your hands before and after application to prevent spreading the infection.

Amrolstar Lotion 30ml contains amorolfine (0.25 %), which works in your body in the following ways:

• Inhibits Key Enzymes: Amorolfine works by blocking two key enzymes involved in ergosterol biosynthesis - delta14-reductase and delta7-delta8-isomerase. Ergosterol is a vital part of fungal cell membranes.
• Alters Fungal Cell Membrane Permeability: By reducing ergosterol levels and letting toxic 14α-methylated sterols accumulate, amorolfine alters fungal cell membrane permeability. This causes leakage of cellular contents and eventually leads to cell death, helping to manage the infection effectively.
