Fungicros Cream is used for the following:

• Managing Tinea corporis, commonly known as ringworm of the body

• Controlling Tinea cruris, also referred to as jock itch

• Managing Tinea pedis, widely known as athlete's foot

• Addressing cutaneous candidiasis, a yeast infection on the skin

• Helping with Pityriasis versicolor, a fungal infection that causes discoloured patches of skin

Using Fungicros Cream is simple. Just follow these steps:

• Start by washing and drying the affected skin areas thoroughly.

• Apply a thin layer of Fungicros Cream evenly on the affected skin and surrounding areas once daily, preferably at bedtime.

• Massage gently until the cream disappears into your skin.

• Leave it on overnight for maximum effectiveness.

• Don't forget to wash your hands after application unless they are in the treatment area.

Fungicros Cream contains amorolfine (0.25%), which works on the body as follows:

• Inhibits enzymes: Amorolfine inhibits two enzymes in your body called Δ14-reductase and Δ7-Δ8-isomerase. Both these enzymes play a crucial role in ergosterol biosynthesis, which is an essential component of fungal cell membranes.

• Alters Fungal Cell Membranes: Amorolfine alters the structure and function of fungal cell membranes by reducing ergosterol levels and allowing the accumulation of ergosterol. This alteration increases membrane permeability, causing leakage of cellular contents, which inhibits fungal growth.

• Keep Fungicros Cream stored in a dry place where the temperature stays below 30°C.

• Ensure you don't freeze the cream.

• After each use, tighten the tube cap to avoid air exposure.

• Always keep it out of reach of children.
