CompositionAmlopin-5 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure and to prevent the chest pain of angina, lowering the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney problems. It prevents angina but does not relieve an ongoing attack.
It contains amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, which improves blood flow and eases the heart's workload.
Take it once a day at the same time, with or without food, and continue it even when you feel well.
Tell your doctor about any heart or liver problems before use. Report marked ankle swelling or dizziness.
